The Golden Hat
I have this amazing hat form from who knows when that was used to make felt hats back in the day. After a party I put this gold party hat on it and voila! Instant still life! Old meets new.

Black Bag
I use foam to pack my paintings in boxes and I placed my foam bag on the table. I have been working on still life’s lately and when I looked at the bag I knew it had to be a still life. Unconventional object- hard to paint! Fun!

Fairfield Hills
I ran across this photo from my expedition to Fairfield last year and it was screaming to be painted. The green of the hills and valley were so beautiful I just had to stand there for a few minutes to take it all in. Love those experiences.
